Lace and Things

A few days before our move, we went to our friend's wedding! Go see some of the photos on my Instagram! The invitation said that the reception was going to be at a farm type of property, so I wore simple/dressy sandals to the wedding. I brought heels with me in case I was wrong.

When we arrived for the reception I was right on! There was grass and gravel at the site, so I immediately called my best friend and told her to also grab her sandals upon arriving. I took a cardigan with me under the tent, since it rained on our way to the venue.

The wedding was absolutely beautiful! Our friends and I were also seated at the Los Angeles table! Couldn't ask for a better last hurrah with friends.

Drool-Worthy Wednesday: David Yurman

Drool-Worthy Wednesday: David Yurman

I have a wedding this weekend and I'm so excited! You cry, you laugh, and see friends that you haven't seen in awhile. I  know that it's all about the bride, but I think that cocktail rings are a perfect way to show your personality without taking the spot light away from her. It's also a quick way to change the style of an everyday outfit.

I purchased this Dorothy Perkins cocktail ring for $5, because it reminded me of the David Yurman ring shown above. The DY ring is completely drool worthy! The cost of the beautiful ring is $1,650. I'll post my outfit for the wedding soon! Right now I can't choose which cocktail ring to wear.

The other cocktail ring option is another Dorothy Perkins ring.

It's always important to have options!

Remember to never stop dreaming!

April Showers Bring May Flowers

I can't get enough of this spring weather! The snow was really getting to me, along with everyone else. There are staples I must have to assist with the fluctuating weather this time of the year.

When April is acting like a lion make sure to have the items listed below:

Trench coat - I have a light weight trench coat that I like go turn to on rainy spring days.

Umberella - I have two Umberellas handy at all times. One in the car and one in my work tote bag.

Rain boots - Seriously, who enjoys having the bottom of their pants saturated?!

Hat - A cotton slouche hat is great to help with frizzy hair.

Jeans - Denim is the absolute worse on rainy day. BUT I do find that denim with stretch is great and not as restricting when wet.

Cross your fingers that May is calmer and you have these following essentials on hand:

A floral dress, wedges, sunglasses, and a derby hat or flower clips.
