Would You Rub Your Elbow On A Toilet Seat?

Denim Diapers

I am 24 years old, but "back in my day" wearing mini skirts was a big deal, thanks Britney Spears "Baby One More Time" . Parents did NOT like them and most of the time were asked to change before leaving the house. Heck! Some friends changed at school or in the mall to get away with wearing something short and revealing.

Ladies, daisy dukes are not cute. It looks desperate, seriously. Your butt is probably covered up more at the beach in your swimsuit. You do not wait to get to the mall to change because you're clearly shopping with your parents.

I've had this discussion with multiple parents and the response is always the same, "It's the only thing the stores are selling. The short shorts and the crop tops." Forever 21?! Well, duh! FOREVER 21. The age group is in the title. They market to the 18-34 age bracket. So, why is your middle school aged child shopping there? Do not even get me started on the lengths of shorts at other stores.

I had to refer a friend to Loft to purchase shorts for her 13 year old daughter, since the inseams are around 5". Do not feel that because it's in the mall you have to buy it. Be smart. Respect your butt cheeks.

Would you ever go into a bathroom and put your elbow on a toilet seat? You usually rest your elbow on a desk, a dinner table, arm rest, and etc. It would be disgusting. So why do you think it's appropriate for your bare cheeks to go from a toilet, to a seat in a restaurant. It's a seat that you sometimes touch to pull yourself in if at a booth. A seat at a doctor's office/store/car, or in your bed?

Just cover up the cheeks and stop this epidemic of the denim diaper.
