Red, Blue, Yellow, Green, Orange, Purple: That's correct, don't step too far away from the colors that we were used to as kids. These colors will be available in stores and will be very bright.
All White: The winter whites will roll into the spring. Just to think it used to be taboo to wear white after Labor Day.
Pastels: Pastels will never be out of style during the spring.
How to Incorporate Them
I personally prefer to test out a new trend by incorporating accessories or shoes. I go to stores like Forever 21, H&M, Target, or Wal-Mart to see if they already carry items in these colors. I do not want to pay a lot of money on something that I know is just TREND for a season. The clutch I have in the photo below cost me $7.99 at K-Mart!
My best advice is to keep your outfit neutral when testing out these accessories, so everyone focuses on your trendy item. I prefer to wear jeans, a plain blouse, and the next item can be the trendy color or pattern for the season. In the photo below I decided to wear red slacks, since it's a new trend color for the spring and add a yellow clutch.
Blouse [Loft], Sweater [Gap], Slacks [New York & Company], Flats [Steve Madden], Clutch [K-Mart/Nicki Minaj], Sunglasses [New York & Company], and Necklace [Fashion Bug].
Once you start feeling a little confident, most likely those trendy items will start going on sale. You can start to mix items in these new colors and save some money.
Thank you so much for reading and remember to never stop dreaming!
