Space Bags Saved My Moved!

As many of you know packing and moving are not the most glamorous tasks in the world. By the time I get to California I'll share our journey and tips we learned along the way. For right now, I'll share how I'm managing to pack all of our clothes! 

Ziploc Space Bags have been around for a longtime, but I've never needed to use them. My husband and I decided to try them and see if they would help with space in our cars. We want to eliminate tote bins in our cars because I have a tote bin obsession. I have to get rid of many of them to make room in the car. 

So these are our results:

I had some summer clothes inside the bin and threw in some towels for a challenge.

There are two large ziploc space bags inside. I had so much room in the second bag I decided to had 2 pairs of shorts,

1 dresses, and 6 blouses. I placed the blue shirt down, so you can see how much more room there is. 

 

My conclusion is the these bags were a great investment. If you are pressed for space between season I definitely recommend them.

Tip: Make sure that after you zip the bag closed with the plastic device, that you double check BOTH zippers are closed! This way you can ensure no air leaks!
